Chonkers Chocolate Chunk Cookies

Ingredients: 
  • 454g butter 
  • 600g cane sugar 
  • 4 eggs + 2 yolk 
  • 4 tsp. vanilla extract 
  • 720g all purpose flour 
  • 2 tsp. baking soda 
  • 1.5 tsp. salt 
  • 200g milk chocolate (chopped) 
  • 300g dark chocolate (chopped) 

Directions: 
  1. In a stand mixer with the beater attachment, mix butter until soft. 
  2. Add sugar and mix until incorporated. 
  3. Add brown sugar until incorporated and scrape bowl. 
  4. Add eggs a little at a time until fully incorporated. 
  5. Add vanilla extract. Scrape bowl. 
  6. Combine dry ingredients and add a little at a time to sugar mixture until fully incorporated and scrape bowl. 
  7. Add chocolate chips all at once until incorporated. 
  8. Use a 4-oz. ice cream scoop (or 1/2 C. measure) to scoop the raw cookie dough on to a cookie sheet. 
  9. These guys are huge! Adjust accordingly or I should say, aesthetically. 
  10. Bake at 335 degrees until done, about 18-20 minutes.
