As the original, just a tad short on the sugar, as usual.
Ingredients:
2-1/4 cups flour (or 2 cups flour & 1/4 cup flaxseed meal)
1 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
1 cup (2 sticks) softened butter
1/3 cup granulated sugar
1/3 cup packed light brown sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 eggs
2 cups (1 pack) Hershey's Dark Chocolate chips
1 cup chopped nuts
Directions:
1. Sift together flour, baking soda & salt.
2. Beat butter, sugars and vanilla in a large bowl with a mixer until creamy.
3. Add eggs, one at a time, incorporating into the mixture.
4. Preheat oven to 375F.
5. Gradually add flour mixture, stirring with a wooden spoon.
6. Stir in chocolate chips & nuts.
7. Drop teaspoonfuls into ungreased cookie sheet,
8. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until lightly browned.
